Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the music world is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he created his group musical, White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they won. He was always interested in music, but he would like to work as the next lawyer or physical therapy. For a while he worked for a short time in a bakeshop within his town to help economically at home. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. His group was compelled to break up due to the fact that they were selected. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they formed in 2010. The group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. They were however in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not win the competition. However Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
